LeAnna is an alumni player of Super Nova F.C. She grew up in Yardley, PA, but made the two hour drive to play for Super Nova F.C. during her high school years. At Pennsbury High School, she was a varsity starter, earning All-League Honors during her sophomore, junior and senior seasons. LeAnna was a key player in helping Pennsbury earn the 1999 PIAA State Championship, the 2000 PIAA State Runner-Up, and 1999 & 2000 District One Championships.
In 2002, LeAnna graduated from high school, after Super Nova F.C. helped her earn a Division One scholarship to play soccer at Robert Morris University. LeAnna is a 2006 graduate of RMU, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Sports Management. She was a starter during her time at RMU (2002-2005), playing multiple positions. Before she left the soccer field at RMU, LeAnna established the record for the most games played in a Colonial uniform, and she is still on the record books for that accomplishment to this day.
LeAnna also was selected to Who's Who Among American Colleges and Universities for Collegiate Athletics.
